Children's art work made into heirloom jewellery

I was awakened to the magic of children's drawings when my first born started Kindergarten. I saw that every child at the kindy had a wonderfully unique style that was broken down to its pure simplistic form. So much joy, fun and character on a piece of paper. I looked at the children's drawings  like they were the child's personal story book showing the observer what was on their little minds.

Paper is easily damaged and pen fades. I found a way to turn my daughters precious art into Jewellery that can now be worn and treasured for generations to come.

To all the Mum's who have told me they are waiting for their child to do the perfect drawing...I say the pendants I make aren't about perfection. They are about capturing the joy only your child can draw. It seems that children can only produce that special joy for a short time in their lives. They then become artists or sadly don't do art at all. 

Here are some wonderful art work I have had the pleasure of translating into an heirloom keepsake. I hand make the pendants and key-rings in solid sterling silver so they will last the test of time.
