This opal had been with my customer for a long time, so it meant a lot that she walked into my shop, connected with my work, and trusted me to bring it to life for her.
The stone itself was incredible, full of colour and movement. To really let that play of colour shine, I set it in yellow gold, paired with a contrasting silver band finished in my signature diamond satin texture.
Seeing it on her hand at the end, it just worked. She wore it so effortlessly. Such a cool lady, and a perfect match for a truly one-of-a-kind piece.
