A little about Jewellery by Maree
I am a Whangarei based jeweller with 20 years experience, starting an apprenticeship at Edward Dickson jewellery manufacturer and working through to be a qualified jeweller.
Delicate jewellery using geometric shapes are a favorite design style for me, using shapes and sharp lines to create elegant designs that are timeless.
I have two young children and have found a passion for translating children's drawings into jewellery. Children’s drawings are special and are lost or forgotten over time, turning them into jewellery is a great way to treasure those memories.
This flare for children's art and design has also inspired me into producing a range of digital art, combining cute animals and Maori cultural themes. Check it out here.
